Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) 1000 mcg
The most extensively studied form of B12 in the world—the same one your doctor uses in injections. We provide 40,000% of the Recommended Daily Intake (RDI) per strip: a deliberately high dose, because even when taken sublingually, your body absorbs only what it needs at that moment. The rest leaves your system without causing any harm. B12 is water-soluble, so there’s no accumulation or toxicity. One strip a day provides more than enough.

The questions we get asked most often, answered honestly. No fine print.
You can get a definitive answer through a blood test at your doctor’s office. However, the Dutch “reference ranges” have been under criticism for years; many doctors consider the lower limit (148 pmol/L) to be too low. Many women only feel truly well above 400 pmol/L. Do you recognize 3 or more symptoms from our symptom checker? There’s a good chance a deficiency is the cause. One strip a day is a safe, inexpensive way to see if it makes a difference.
Give it 4–6 weeks. B12 addresses a deficiency that may have built up over years—it doesn’t resolve in a week. Many customers notice the first signs after 2–3 weeks (less of an afternoon slump, a brighter mood). People usually start to feel the real difference in weeks 4–6.
It sounds like a lot, but it isn’t. B12 is water-soluble, so whatever your body doesn’t need is simply excreted in your urine. No buildup, no toxicity. We intentionally use a high dose because even when taken sublingually, your body only absorbs what it needs at that moment. For comparison: a general practitioner typically administers 1,000–2,000 mcg per injection.
A standard B12 pill must pass through your stomach acid and requires a protein (intrinsic factor) to be absorbed. In women taking birth control pills, vegetarians, people on acid-suppressing medications, and women around menopause, that protein doesn’t work as well. A dissolvable strip enters the bloodstream directly through the lining of your tongue. No stomach, no liver, no intrinsic factor needed.
Studies have shown that sublingual B12 is comparable to injections—without the needle, without an appointment, and without a visit to the doctor. For people with severe absorption issues, an injection may still be necessary; discuss this with your doctor. For most women with mild to moderate deficiency, a daily strip is just as effective.
Morning is best. B12 supports your energy metabolism—you want that during the day, not right before bed. It doesn’t matter if you take it with or without food. One strip a day, at a time that’s easy for you to remember.
Both work. We use cyanocobalamin, the most extensively studied form of B12—the same one your doctor uses in injections. Research shows that it has comparable absorption and effectiveness to methylcobalamin, and in some cases is even better. We choose what’s clinically proven, not what’s trending. (And before the first wellness influencer claims that we choose cyanocobalamin because it’s “cheaper” or “better”: that’s a persistent myth. The production costs are virtually the same.)
Yes. Our B12 is fermentation-based, not derived from animal sources. The strip is plant-based (pullulan), not gelatin. All flavorings are natural and vegan.
